Shalom– שלום

I am so excited to be your teacher.

I was born and raised on a kibbutz in Israel, other than two of my elementary school years in which I lived in New York City. While there, I went to Kinneret Day School and enjoyed my summers at Camp Gesher. 

I met my (Canadian) husband not long after finishing my army service. We travelled together and ended up in Toronto, where I worked as a flight attendant for Air Canada and attended UofT.

24 years ago we moved to Ottawa, had our son and daughter and decided to make it our home. 

I enjoy travelling to new places, hiking, canoeing and kayaking, photography, a good book, plays, musicals, dance performances, comedies, baking and cake decorating, and of course spending time with family and friends. 

I love teaching Kitah Alef!

I am looking forward to a fun learning and growing year together.
