Hebrew Reading Recordings for Nov 5 – 8

It’s hard to believe but after today Kitah Alef students will officially be able to read any hebrew word that has only the ah ‘vowel.’

Here we are practicing our reading with a friend and matching the sentences to a picture to demonstrate our comprehension.

Today the students were revisiting the Chah sound. They were introduced to the last letter in the HW reading book – Chaf Sofit. This is the only end letter (Ott Sofit) that also has the ‘ah vowel.’

Tomorrow for HW they will read a short story, that has ‘ah’ sounds and few pictures of vocabulary we learned in class.

On Wednesday we are planning a little learning celebration to mark this occasion. We will have different stations to review in a fun way the beautiful reading and vocabulary we acquired to date.

If your child wants, they are welcome to bring an object from home that begins with the ah vowel (ananas, balon, gamal, dag, etc…) – we will use it on Wednesday.

We will also introduce the ee ‘vowel’ and will begin our new booklet.

We are soooo proud of the progress we are seeing.

We thank all of you for helping us creating good learning habits for our students, who will forever benefit from this.

Following are this week’s recordings:

Monday: Chaf Sofit; sound Chah & Ch

Tuesday: story – Ballon Chadash

Wednesday: a little break. 😉

Thursday: Sounds Ee & Yee

Happy listening/reading.
