A fun Hanukkah

What a fun Hanukkah week we had.

It began a week and a half ago, when we went to bake cookies with the Hillel Lodge residents.

Then… thios past week, every day after lighting the Hanukiya and singing Hanukah songs, our Big Sevivon came down and inside there was an activity…

Monday we it gave us puzzle pieces. We had to find our group according to the number on our puzzle, put it together, color it and then decorate the Sevivon with it.

Tuesday we made svivonim from CDs, mandalas and marbles… which u got to see that day… we hope…

Wednesday, we found a photo of Inbar and Liam, our Shinshinim, and objects representing a Hebrew story for Hanukkah- ‘Gveret Keresh and Adon Ma’aroch’. They acted it out in a fun way.

Thursday, we had many games and some staples for making Levivot in the Sevivon… all representing different stations we enjoyed with our siblings and friends from Kitah Bet.

and Friday, we had a very short time together when again we lit the candles, first the Hanukah ones and then the Shabbat ones… and recieved little wooden dreidles from the Big Sevivon.

We gave the Sevivon many hugs before saying good bye…
